Despite the best efforts of Jackson Boyd and the mountain of evidence against them, Shepherd Chartered Surveyors would not admit liability or enter into any negotiations. Jackson Boyd had run up a bill with my home insurer and there wasn’t enough left between their costs and the diminution in value to take matters to court.
I instructed a second RICS Expert Witness and Chartered Surveyor to provide an opinion as I knew they weren’t backing down. Neither was I.
Update: 24th June 2023 – I received a telephone call from Thornton’s solicitors advising they represent Shepherd Chartered Surveyors and this part of the website is confidential. I was unaware of this and advised I would remove any mention immediately.
